Privacy statement
Daedalus Aviation Group BV (DAG) respects the privacy of all parties with whom we do business. Our basic principle is that we treat your data the way we want our own data to be treated. We do everything we can to ensure that your personal data is treated and processed confidentially and, of course, that is properly secured. DAG acts in this respect in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that apply in the Netherlands.
Who is Daedalus Aviation Group BV?
Daedalus Aviation Group BV is located in Tilburg (5026 SR) at Droogdokkeneiland 6, and together with its company, (hereinafter; Daedalus Aviation Group BV (DAG) is controlled within the meaning of the GDPR for the processing of personal data that described in this Privacy Statement. This concerns all units that trade under the name Daedalus Aviation Group BV, including the following (subsidiary) companies; Daedalus BV, Daedalus Projects & Trade BV, Maintenance by EML (EML).
Why do we collect your personal data?
Your personal data is used to provide the best possible services to you, including temporary employment, secondment, mediation, salary administration, personnel management, personal development & employability and recruitment & selection. DAG uses your data for the following purposes:
· Bringing supply and demand together on the labor market
· To register and process worked hours in our time registration system (Gearboks)
· To be able to assess your suitability and availability in connection with a mediation in a secondment process or project
· To enter into and maintain an employee or personnel/mediation relationship with you and to carry out the relevant administration for this.
· To be able to record an assignment with the client in an agreement with the client and to maintain and fulfill the agreement with the client.
· Process data on behalf of our clients in the context of a pre-employment screening
· To promote your personal development and employability, including training and education.
· For management purpose including management information, providing internal controls and business safety and conducting audits and auditing.
· Quality objectives such as certification
· If we have entered into an employee or personnel/mediation relationship with you, for legal and regulatory compliance, including but not limited to identification, labor law, tax and social security law, anti-fraud and national and internal sanctions laws.
· To be able to congratulate you on your birthday or for sending gifts or flowers.
What data do we collect?
DAG processes your personal data the moment you contact us in any way and leave your data with us. This can be done via our website when, for example, you register to be included in our pool of candidates to be mediated for work, when you apply for a position with us for one of our clients, but also when you visit us at the branch or visit us by email/letter or by telephone as (potential) business relation offers your services. As a jobseeker, candidate, seconded person, (temporary) employee, self-employed person and/or business relation of DAG, you can process the personal data below. You are responsible for ensuring that the personal information you provide is correct and up to date.
If you register or apply for a job with us, we collect the following information:
· Name and address details, e-mail address, telephone number and other contact details.
· Birth data, age, gender
· Curriculum vitae (CV), information about education, internships and work experience.
· Data about training and education and/or tests that you have followed or done yourself or through us.
· Data on availability and leave
· Data in the context of a pre-employment screening
· Other information that is (or may be) important in the context of the assessment of the suitability of the candidate for example references and certificates and information regarding work experience.
· On a voluntary basis, other content with which you introduce yourself (video, photo)
· Data other than those mentioned above, the processing of which is required pursuant to or necessary for the purposes of the application of the law.
From the moment you can start working / work / or having worked for DAG or our clients:
· Name and address details, e-mail address, telephone number, bank and / or bank account number and other contact details.
· Birth data, age, gender.
· Curriculum Vitae (CV), information education, internships and work experience.
· Data about training and education and / or tests that you have followed or done yourself or through us.
· Data on availability and leave.
· Nationality, BSN & Proof of identity (copy of proof of identity), and work permit / residence permit.
· Data in the context of a pre-employment screening
· Information regarding the nature and content of previous job placements, as well as regarding their termination.
· Other information that is (or may be) important in the context of the assessment of the suitability of the candidate, for example references and certificates and information regarding work experience.
· Other data related to the personnel, salary and absenteeism registration
· On a voluntary basis, other content with which you introduce yourself (video, photo)
· Data other than those mentioned above, the processing of which is required pursuant to or necessary for the purposes of the application of the law.
Which personal data of business relations do we process?
We also process personal data of business relations. This usually concerns the contract details of employees of clients, suppliers, sellers, references and other organizations with which DAG maintains a business relationship. This usually concerns the names, contact details and positions of contact persons with the aim of making offers about the services and other activities, maintaining the business relationship and / or entering into an assignment agreement.
With whom do we share your personal data?
We may share your personal data with business partners (such as customers, clients) and other third parties (such as tax authorities, insurers, the UWV or occupational health and safety services), in accordance with applicable legislation.
Sometimes DAG offers a service in collaboration with another company (business partner). If your approval is required by law or DAG believes that your approval is appropriate, DAG will always ask for your approval before sharing your personal data. As a rule, DAG will only disclose personal data in accordance with the privacy statement and / or if required by law. In the event that DAG sells (part of) its business, this transfer may also include the transfer of your personal data related to that business to the new owner.
DAG can store your personal data in a cloud. This means that your personal data can be processed and stored by a Cloud service provider on behalf of DAG. DAG has taken organizational and contractual measures to protect your personal data and to impose security and privacy requirements on our Cloud service providers, including the requirement that your personal data is only processed for the purposes stated above.
Do we process your data outside the Netherlands?
Your personal data can be passed on to customers and possibly third parties (such as authorities in the country of secondment in order to be employed) outside the Netherlands if you agree to secondment outside the Netherlands. DAG will take the necessary measures to ensure that the personal data passed on are also adequately protected there.
How long do we keep your data?
We do not store your data for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which we collected it. In doing so, we observe any statutory retention periods, for example for the benefit of the tax authorities. DAG stores candidate data with permission for two years after the permission has been granted. If you want to withdraw your permission, you can do so via recruitment@daedalus.nl.
You have the right to withdraw the data content. Withdrawing your content does not work retroactively, withdrawing content only applies to future processing.
If you have a personal account with DAG (Gearboks) you have access to a large part of the personal data registered about you. You can change or delete a number of data yourself at any time, such as making changes to your resume or your account details. If you do not have a personal account, you can send the request to recruitment@daedalus.nl.
Questions, comments, complaints or (suspected) data breach>
If you have any questions, comments or complaints about the protection of your personal data by DAG, you can contact us in writing or by e-mail at anooteboom@daedalus.nl or Droogdokkeneiland 6, 5026 SR in Tilburg. If you do not agree with DAG’s use of your personal data, you can also submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Data breach
If there is a (suspicion of) a data breach, we request that your report this immediately to anooteboom@daedalus.nl
Amendments
DAG may make changes, additions or amendments to its Privacy Statement from time to time for a variety of reasons. The most current Privacy Statement can be viewed at all times on the DAG websites. This version is valid from December 22, 2021.
